Dawn is a Colorado Native with a passion for adventure and her community. The president of the Fremont Community Foundation, is a title she does not take lightly. She feels as though each and every member of the FCF board plays as much of an important role as the next person.
Dawn strives to foster growth, support, local initiatives, and strengthen the bonds within our community. Through her local business ownership, she has cultivated a spirit of entrepreneurship and created opportunities for her employees.
As an actively engaged community member, Dawn is committed to volunteering her time, resources and expertise to various causes, working tirelessly to uplift and empower those around her.
She loves to explore and embraces the thrill of rafting, fly fishing and camping. She is also an avid traveler and loves new experiences.

Kevin Brown is a native of Cañon City and has a deep passion for the community he lives and operates his real estate business in. He enjoys spending time with his family and coaching youth wrestling.
Kevin loves serving as the Vice-President of the Fremont Community Foundation. His enthusiasm shows in his efforts to help create events that raise money for local nonprofits. Kevin looks forward to seeing you at one of Fremont Community Foundation’s wonderful, fun and purposeful events.
Dan started with the FCF in 2002 as a volunteer at the Belvedere Blues Festival. Dan served as President from 2012 until 2021 and still is an active Board member today. Serving on the Board has not only been a privilege but an honor to be a part of an organization that does so much for the community. Dan also served for two years as the President of the Canon City Chamber of Commerce and is motivated to make our community "the best it can be". Dan has been collecting, restoring and driving Volkswagens since he was 16 years old and continues with that hobby today.
Jessica is an upbeat and energetic person. She joined the Fremont Community Foundation board in 2019 with heavy recommendations from members who saw her potential to take the foundation to the next level. She currently holds the position of Secretary. Jessica has a passion for building and fostering connections within the community which complements the foundation perfectly. When she is not selling Real Estate or serving on the multiple boards she is affiliated with, she is exploring the beautiful landscapes of Colorado alongside her partner Scott.
Tom is an active member of the Fremont Community Foundation board where he contributes his time and expertise to support the community. Alongside his wife, Tom is the proud owner and operator of a local business that specializes in creating custom gifts and products for Fremont County. Outside of work, Tom finds joy in his role as a loving husband and devoted father. He also has a passion for outdoor activities, particularly shooting guns and spending time in nature.
Bri is an exceptional individual who actively contributes to her community as an esteemed member of the Fremont Community Foundation. Alongside her dedicated service, she also takes on the role of a manager at a local business, where she showcases her strong leadership skills and passion for helping others. Besides her professional commitments, Bri finds immense joy in being a proud and loving mother to her two wonderful children. Her multifaceted life reflects her commitment to making a positive impact both in her community and within her family.
Edward Senecal Is husband and a father, he loves God and his family. He is not a native to Colorado and is one of those California transplants. He has lived all over this wonderful country and enjoys living in Cañon City, Colorado. He spends time giving back to the community with being involved in multiple nonprofit organizations. Edward is also one of the owners and operators of Royal Gorge Candle Company another great small business in the Fremont County area. He looks forward to making a difference in Fremont County and giving back to the community that has been so great to him and his family.
Eli is a dedicated board member of the Fremont Community Foundation (FCF) who believes in giving back for the betterment of his community. Eli brings a dynamic perspective to the board. His favorite event, Flashback on Main, encapsulates his enthusiasm for community engagement. With years of experience in the event industry, his expertise has been instrumental in redesigning the FCF website, enhancing communication and fostering community involvement. Eli owns a business within Fremont County called Sangre Equipment Services, and has a passion for the outdoors and a love for cooking.
Jonathan is originally from Montana but has lived in the Canon City area since 2018. He is the small business owner of Ravenwood Electric and Royal Gorge Candle Company, both located in Canon City, Colorado. He is a father, brother, lover of BBQing, everything outdoors, Legend of Zelda, and entertaining. He helps out with the electrical know-how for various events in the community. Jonathan enjoys working in the community and watching it grow and come together.
